League of Legends is gaining ground in Latin America but in Peru it resists. Riot Games shared the data of the Grand Final of the Clausura that defined the representative of the region to the World Cup.
Rainbow7 managed to turn the series around after losing the first two games against All Knights and reached the long-awaited place at Worlds 2020, which will take place in Shanghai, China, on September 25.
This final was broadcast almost simultaneously with that of the LCS, the North American league, and the LEC, the European league. Despite this, it managed to reach historic numbers. Riot Games shared the statistics for the Grand Final.

It was possible to exceed 7 million unique viewers, which is 36% higher than the 2019 Clausura data. On the other hand, it exceeded 10 million views: 39% higher than last year’s event.
23% of the audience came from Mexico, Chile contributed another 23%, Colombia with 10%, Argentina with 15% and finally Peru added 5% of the total. Remember that this data is collected from the official channels of Riot Games, Azteca Deportes, ETC and SEñal Colombia.
