We come to the latter part of 2020 in terms of League of Legends , reaching the most important part of Worlds. In addition, during the month of November we have had, possibly, the craziest transfer market in memory.
October
This month is synonymous with Worlds 2020 , and the most important part of all: the playoffs. DAMWON Gaming and G2 Esports met again in the semi-finals after comfortably passing the quarter-final phase. Suning Gaming continued with their private honeymoon, ousting JDG, and Fnatic had Top Esports on the ropes 0-2 to end up falling on the fifth map.
En semifinales DAMWON se cobró la venganza del 2019 y dejó fuera a G2, mientras que Suning despachó a Top Esports. Finalmente, en la final los coreanos demostraron estar un paso por delante del resto en este torneo y levantaron la copa de campeones por 3-1.
Noviembre
Una vez terminadas las competiciones importantes, tuvimos la tan esperada agencia libre y sus fichajes. Y no fue una cualquiera, porque hemos tenido un seísmo brutal en Europa: la marcha de Perkz a Cloud9, y sobretodo el fichaje de Rekkles por G2 Esports.
Además, en LCS hubieron muchos fichajes como Josedeodo, SwordArt o Alphari y promete ser una región a la que echar un ojo. A nivel internacional, Nuguri pasa de DAMWON Gaming a FunPlus Phoenix, Chovy y Deft se reunen en Hamwha Life, y figuras como Gorilla se retiran.
Diciembre
Con todo el mercado internacional prácticamente cerrado, en diciembre hemos visto cómo se iban cerrando los equipos de ERL. En España se han anunciado dos nuevos proyectos como el de Team Queso con la Chavalería, los nuevos fichajes de Vodafone Giants, o el proyecto desde 0 de Movistar Riders.
