The competitive League of Legends season in Peru is over but the champion still has important matches to play. G-Pride managed to beat Instinct Gaming (the Apertura champion) by three games to qualify for Regional South 2020.
In this tournament you will have to face the best teams in the region to define who will play the promotion tournament. On this occasion, Peru will face Argentina and Chile.
G-Pride will kick off the tournament on September 3 against UC Esports (Honor League champion). After this match, there will be no rest for the ‘Gorillas’, as they are also lined up for the second match against Undead Gaming (champion of the Argentine Master League).
On the other hand, Estral Esports, Geekside Esports, OG Esports and Zeu5 Bogotá will define the representative of the northern region of the continent. The Regional South and Regional North champion will face Furious Gaming and Pixel Esports Club.
These last two are the ones with the worst accumulated score in the league and will have to fight their permanence in the LLA. Let’s remember that Peru has already participated in the Promotion / Relegation Tournament but Instinct Gaming failed to score points at the time.
