Riot Games announces a series of initiatives related to the virtual K-pop music band.
Riot Games announced the arrival of K / DA on October 29th with the appearance of some game elements dedicated to All Out, their new album.
WHO AM I – K / DA is a virtual pop band created by Riot Games, featuring themed versions of some League of Legends champions. Inspired by the K-pop phenomenon, K / DA have evolved to embrace more international pop sounds, creating a musical identity based on the characters representing the group of girls (Ahri, Evelynn, Akali and Kai’Sa) rather than on the voice of a single artist. The band debuted in 2018 with the single Pop / Stars and with a line of customizations dedicated to League of Legends. The group has since returned on August 27 with the single The Baddest, which will be one of five tracks on the upcoming album, All Out.
WORLDS – As part of the 2020 League of Legends World Cup, Seraphine, the new incoming champion, will make her debut on servers dedicated to the public Beta on October 13, along with a skin that will represent her social media character, Seraphine K / DA All Out. Along with her, the other pop stars who make up K / DA will receive new looks based on their promotional outfits. As of yesterday, these aspects are also available in preview on the public Beta server. Seraphine, her K / DA All Out skin and the new K / DA All Out skin will be available starting October 29.
AND OTHER GAMES – Players who play Legends of Runeterra starting October 28, 2020 will receive the K / DA All Out Event Pass for free, as well as a full set of cards inspired by Seraphine, Ahri, Evelynn, Akali and Kai’Sa. As for Teamfight Tactics, players will be able to purchase new versions of the Mini Legends in two variants also inspired by K / DA.
